I grew up in a small coal mining town in southeastern Kentucky. My father was a Korean War Veteran and a Coal Miner for 43 years. I love my father for everything he did for our family. But that black hole was not for me. I joined the navy in 1984 and spent 12 years on active duty where I learned my current profession, Radiological Technology. I love football, jazz and blasting down the highway on my Hog. I am also the very proud father of 3 beautiful daughters. Which is one of the big reasons I wanted to be a Buffalo Soldier. From the great plains of Africa to the majestic Pyramids of Egypt, we are the decedents of mighty Warriors and Kings. And although we ride in honor of the 9th and 10th cavalry, it is up to all of us to make sure that all of our children know the real truth about our entire history and never forget those who paved the way for us.
