Born in St. Louis, Missouri Aneesah “LOVE” Sabir-Davis, number 8 of 10 children to a very, very strong and beautiful lady. Thanks for being my hero mom (R.I.P Feb 1914 - Dec 1999).

Relocated to Northern California (Bay Area), where I completed school and met my husband Clarence (“Poowman” as you may know him). After marriage, my husband moved me and job (DMV) to Southern California (Oceanside), where he completed – his time in the Marines at Camp Pendleton. I’m very proud to say I’ve been with my husband happily for 25 years and counting, I’m now employed as an Accounting Clerk, and a resident of Bonsall, California – mother of none, stepmother to 1, and godmother of 15 and counting. I enjoy family/friend, community service, educating young adults, interior design, art, reading, jazz, glass of wine, and cozy lit fireplace.

My husband introduced me to the Buffalo Soldiers. There was some hesitation at first as to becoming an associate, but after some consideration, I found the Buffalo Soldiers to be a very positive organization – helping me to fulfilling my love of providing community service, family support, black history, and paving the way for our youth.
