I was born
and raised on the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Louis
Mo. My older brother taught me to ride a motorcycle on our farm
when I was 12 years old and have been riding off and on ever since.
After a four year tour of the Navy I decided to stay in San Diego—The
Weather. After receiving a Journalism degree from City College
I spent six years as a California Highway Patrol officer working
both northern and southern California. It was during that time
that I was introduced to the Buffalo Soldiers history. I was angry
that it took so long to receive that knowledge and was determined
to learn as much as I could about them. This eventually led me
to move to Campo California since that is where the Buffalo Soldiers
were last stationed as a full Cavalry Unit. I have since moved
back to San Diego but have continued pursuing their history and
spreading the word of their deeds.
I never
really considered joining a motorcycle club but when Big Kahuna
introduced me to the BSMCSD I never looked back. I truly enjoy
the socializing and rides with this group and feel honor and
pride when I put on my colors.
I am a recent graduate of National University in Business Administration
and currently work in municipal Storm Water management.
